So far in this term we have been learning about water and I will be telling you some facts. One, is that when water gets puddles heat up it becomes gas, also known as water vapour. Two, when water vapour gets cold it turns into water again. That is called condensation. Last, hydro electricity is made by water flowing into blades, then spins the turbine and creates electricity! All of those facts of water sounds like their fake but no, they're actually real! And also we had groups finding different things about water. At the end of the week we had to do a quiz about what we learned to see if we were actually learning and not playing around. We also did an experiment, first you have to get your equipment which is water, a timer, some chalk and you have to do this outside, after you have gathered the equipment needed go outside to a flat place then pour your water. Step 2, then trace out the outline of the water with the chalk, after that get your timer and set it for 5 minutes then trace it around again after the timer has done. Then talk about what has happened to a partner. That is all for today and hopefully you have learnt something new. What is your favourite thing to learn about?

  1. Jimi this is a great summary about what we have been learning so far - clearly you haven't been playing around!

  2. I love hearing about your 'fact of the day' in the car each day! I'm really enjoying teaching this water topic too.
