Gala

 The gala

When I came I looked around and saw so many stalls from the gala some were selling beautiful earrings, halloween cakes & a quick fire raffle! They all looked so good so I just went around in a circle and looked at all the stalls! When I walked in I saw all my friends at the walkway to the court & there was stuff like popping balloons from a dart board, people selling plants & even lots of kindling! Heres a video to help you understand what I said/meant.

Music has no boundaries

In the beginning, our teacher told us to make some speeches for our persuasive writing. I chose to do "Why more people should be listening to different language musics." But when I showed my teacher, my teacher said that the name was too long and decided to make it "Music has no boundaries". After she told me that I started writing as much I could and I tried to search some facts about music but I got nothing, so I just decided to make the speech as good as I could. After we all made the speeches we then got brought upon something called screencastify and its really cool and then we had to use our face cam and our voice recorder to record our speeches onto the screencastify. My screen embedded below:

So that is my speech and I hope you enjoyed it please comment and give some feed back :)

How water can create art!

Sure water can be used to drink out of, but did you know that It can be used Io make art? That's why I'm here to show you how It makes the art!

So you know gravity right? How It pulls things down to the ground, It's basically about how the gravity works around water.

First, you get the water In any type of bucket, the bigger the more of a chance that the camera will get It. Then, you will need to collect water till have the bucket Is half full(or empty).

After that, you get the camera ready In a position you like It In, then either set a timer on It then quickly throw It or get a family member to take a photo to help make It easier.

Now for the camera man If one of you're family members are doing this, you will have to count down from three, two, one GO! Then the person with the bucket of water will throw It and you will have to follow where the water flows and then when you are ready take the photo and check It.

If you don't like the photo you can delete It and do It again over and over again till you love the photo that you created. And here are some of my ones I did and I hope you like them. And tell me you're favourite one! my one is the second to last one!

The mysterious egg

When I was going to the chicken coop to collect our three eggs as usual, we found a really weird type of egg. We wondered if it would taste the same or If the inside would be different.

My cat

You know cats, right? they go hunting then they bring them inside whether it's a bird, a mouse or a rat! so my cat didn't just catch a mouse he took out the stomach!

My cat's act like there really nice and sweet, but really there murderers. Most days our cats bring in birds and mice and rats but this one was a mouse, and it was very gross to see this put the cat pulled the organs out of the mouse and it stained some cardboard luckily not the carpet. And you could even see the bones on the inside and all the intestines. Here's a photo. And this is the cat that killed the mouse.

Dog Walking

Dog Walking

We usually have a house job roster and one of those jobs are walking the dogs, so this is the route I take.

So first I open the gate that we have to let the dogs out. We started walking to my bus stop, but we have cars and trucks driving through the road and I'm not that fine with Buddy so I keep him on the lead, same with Gus. I start walking there and when I get there I turn the corner into the river walk. After I got in I let the dogs off the lead and they'd play for about 20-30 minutes or even an hour if it's beautiful weather. When I take the leads off the dogs and go down to the rocks I start looking for some flat, round, and smooth rocks to skim. I start trying to skim the rock to the other side of the river but Iv'e only gotten it to the other side twice. Then I go back home but now we usually have two people taking the dogs.

Here are some photos.

enjoy:)

My ANZAC poppy and buscuits

In our self- isolation our teacher told us to do either 2 or more things on this page and i chose to make ANZAC biscuits and a really nice picture of a poppy. so what I did to make ANZAC biscuits

Ingredients:

1 cup Edmonds Standard Grade Flour
1 ½ teaspoons ground cinnamon
1 ¾ cups rolled oats
½ cup Chelsea White Sugar or Chelsea Raw Sugar¼ cup (firmly packed) Chelsea Soft Brown Sugar1 cup desiccated coconut
125g Tararua Butter, cubed
¼ cup Chelsea Golden Syrup Tin2 Tablespoons water
1 teaspoon bicarbonate of soda

Pre-heat oven to 150°C conventional bake. Line a baking tray with baking paper.
In a medium sized bowl, sift together the Edmonds Standard Grade Flour and cinnamon. Add the rolled oats, coconut and sugars; mix well.

Combine the Tararua ButterChelsea Golden Syrup and water in a small saucepan and stir over low-medium heat until the Tararua Butter melts and the mixture is well combined (ensure the mixture does not simmer or boil). Remove from heat and stir in the bicarbonate of soda. Add immediately to the dry ingredients and use a wooden spoon to stir until well combined.

Roll 1-2 tablespoons of mixture into balls and place onto tray about 5cm apart. Use your fingers to flatten each slightly (until they are about 1cm thick) and bake for 16 minutes (for a chewy biscuit) or 20 minutes for a crunchier biscuit.

Set aside for 5 minutes to cool slightly before transferring to a wire rack to cool completely. Keep in an airtight container for up to a week.

and this is what the ANZAC biscuits looked like

Now for the poppy. I basically just got my laptop got a pen and pencil, search "ANZAC poppy" went on to a nice picture and sketched it, then I traced the drawing with the pen and coloured it in. And I got this, hope you like it.
