Geology about different types of rocks

 For our topic we have been learning about different types of rocks and I found out the 3 most important types of rocks witch are Igneous, Sedimentary and Metamorphic. The difference between these rocks are Igneous is formed from lava in or out a volcano, Sedimentary is actually made of sand, shells or sediments and how its created is the sand sinks to the bottom of the ocean, because of the pressure the sand will harden and get more and more harder until the sand becomes sand stone. And finally Metamorphic rocks are basically formed when great pressure and heat deep inside the earth mix different types of rock together, or change rocks form. I learnt a lot about rocks in this topic and I hope you learnt something as well. Heres a photo of my work.

Why mistakes are important for learning

 I think mistakes will help you learn because imagine your just right at everything and you know what all questions are like passing every grade and not getting a good job.

 Its fine to make mistakes cause you learn from your mistakes like if you scrape a car from taking your drivers license, you'll know not to be that close from a car or something like that. 

Mistakes help you learn anything like riding a bike, getting questions wrong and maybe even not getting your driving license. So that is why mistakes are important for learning. By the way the book below this text is about a girl that has never made a mistake but then during a show she makes a mistake!

Athletics

 Athletics

Athletics was really fun and we got to do all stuff like Shot put, Discus, High jump, Long jump, 1,200m  run and different length sprints. I enjoyed every bit of Athletics and I came fourth in 1,200m run, 2nd and 3rd in sprints, and I made it into the west coast for high jump only. I was so happy because I was the smallest kid there and I came second place! Everyone in lake brunner did so well and quit a lot of people made it to the west coast, including someone who wasn't even there!?!? Again, it was really fun and i'm excited to do athletics next year. Here are the photos

So we started a class play like two weeks ago and the story is about Bad Jelly The Witch. I was Tim and Mackenzie was Rose. Although some people weren't that happy with what role they are. It was really fun and I was really happy with my role. The story is basically about how Tim and Rose do there jobs and all there usual stuff, like  getting the milk from Lucy the cow. But then one day the gate was open and Lucy was gone. So Tim and Rose went looking for Lucy and went in some dangerous occasions you could say. And so we basically do a play about that and it actually much more funner than I thought which was really good. So that's all for now, bye!

School is back!

School is back!

 Hey guys! Our school changed a lot since last year! We now have something called word lab and we now have a birthday list on when each others birthdays are and just wow! There has been so much difference from last year I didn't even notice my own class room! 

Gala

When I came I looked around and saw so many stalls from the gala some were selling beautiful earrings, halloween cakes & a quick fire raffle! They all looked so good so I just went around in a circle and looked at all the stalls! When I walked in I saw all my friends at the walkway to the court & there was stuff like popping balloons from a dart board, people selling plants & even lots of kindling! Music has no boundaries

 In the beginning, our teacher told us to make some speeches for our persuasive writing. I chose to do "Why more people should be listening to different language musics." But when I showed my teacher, my teacher said that the name was too long and decided to make it "Music has no boundaries". After she told me that I started writing as much I could and I tried to search some facts about music but I got nothing, so I just decided to make the speech as good as I could. After we all made the speeches we then got brought upon something called screencastify and its really cool and then we had to use our face cam and our voice recorder to record our speeches onto the screencastify.
